Curious to know if Watkins is available at 5, but the Lions come in and offer the 10th pick with (2) 2nd round picks, would the Nation entertain that idea?

Also, would you consider Johnny Football if he fell to the 2nd round?

I wouldn't be too upset with that trade. We'd end up with 3 2nd round picks in a deep draft.

I'm really not that high on Johnny football, but I'd take a chance on him in the 2nd if he's still there. I wouldn't hesitate to pick him up if we did the Lions trade.

Wasn't expecting to see a trade. He's not gonna get the opportunity to start with SEA, but I think it will be a great learning experience. He seems like a very hard worker and I wish him success.

Raiders send Terrelle Pryor to Seattle | ProFootballTalk

Pryor traded to the Seahawks.

I still believe it was a mistake not trying to develop him. fukking ridiculous.
I'm sitting back and watching at that point.
But if we miss out and he becomes big and schaub is a bum this year.....
I mean shyt Pete could even try to include him in some kind of package that involves him acting as a WR and throwing a deep ball like the steelers did a few years back with that other WR
We better go all in this year man cuz if we dont
:to: iono what ima do.

The Cosmos
They are keeping him at QB.

Seahawks “excited” by “incredibly explosive” Pryor

Both the Raiders and the Seahawks, one-time and long-time rivals in the AFC West, have announced the deal that sends quarterback Terrelle Pryor to Seattle. Both teams have disclosed the the Raiders will get Seattle’s seventh-round pick, the final non-compensatory selection in the draft.

The Seahawks were particularly effusive in their praise of Pryor.

“Terrelle is an incredibly explosive athlete and we’re excited for him to come in and compete,” G.M. John Schneider said in a team-issued release.

The release identifies Pryor as a quarterback, saying nothing about Pryor possibly filling other roles. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, he will indeed remain a quarterback.

Presumably, he’ll compete with Tarvaris Jackson as the No. 2 man behindRussell Wilson.

And, of course, if the Seahawks are serious about the commitment to competition, Pryor also would have a chance to supplant Wilson, in theory. But it would take a lot to overcome one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL.

Actually, Wilson isn’t just one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. He’s already one of the best quarterbacks in the league regardless of age and experience.

PFT- Buzz builds for Taylor Lewan to Oakland at No. 5
Posted by Michael David Smith on April 23, 2014, 4:50 PM EDT
Taylor Lewan

Former Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan is looking like a candidate to be the Raiders’ first-round draft pick.

Oakland owns the fifth overall pick, and Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune reports that the Raiders like Lewan better than either of the other top offensive tackles in this year’s draft, Greg Robinson of Auburn or Jake Matthews of Texas A&M.

That’s surprising, as most draft analysts view Robinson and Matthews as superior prospects to Lewan. It’s also surprising that we’re even talking about the Raiders using their first-round pick on an offensive tackle, seeing as they’ve already signed left tackle Donald Penn to a two-year, $9.6 million contract and signed right tackle Austin Howard to a five-year, $30 million contract.

But the Raiders are often unconventional, so if their draft board looks different than most teams’ draft boards, that’s par for the course.

Most mock drafts haven’t had Lewan in the Top 5, but ESPN’s Mel Kiper suggested today that the Rams could take Lewan with the second overall pick. So it’s possible that Lewan won’t even be there for the Raiders at No. 5. But if he is, don’t be surprised if the Raiders take him.
