I don't know what Angelo Dawkins is supposed to be & the Vaudevillains are going to die a quick death on the main roster. They need somebody new to help come up with gimmicks for people that don't come in with a name already because outside of basic ones like Tyler Breeze most of these gimmicks will die quick on the main roster

On some real shyt, goofy gimmicks hold NXT back from being as cutting edge as it can be. The influx of indie and NJPW guys is dope but it dilutes the program when goofy gimmicks are mixed in with it. It kinda robs the rookies of a fair shot at being taken seriously because I have way more patience watching someone grow if they don't have a shytty gimmick.

Terrible show this week. Aries is AWFUL Jesus Christ. Not like Dawkins is great or anything, but Aries completely sucked the wind out of the room and is blander than Crews and Balor combined. I knew he has been ain't shyt for about a decade, but Christ. Then the Alexa/Tully's daughter match happened and I was like . It was brutal.

Tag match was whatever. It doesn't send a strong message when Vaudvillians are defeated by two dudes not even signed to the company a night before they enter a tournament for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Nakamura/Tye was a fun TV match, but I'm really hoping Nak isn't a weekly TV talent. I don't think there is anyone that benefits from weekly TV matches, and he should be in one TV match per month, imo. Anything more and his specialness is going to wear off in a hurry just like all the other indie/international guys they've brought in.

They should use Jimmy being all swagged out about dating Naomi on the Edge & Christian Show to turn USOs heel with Reigns. I already disliked dude, but after the whole "We get to see each other naked all the time!" I full on despise his entire existence.

that Aries match was great because they probably gathered some CDQ sound effects of moves and grunts. I cant remember the last time i saw an NXT match with damn near 0 crowd interaction.

Ive only known Tessa Blanchard from pics Ricochet/Apollo Crews have posted over the last year so i thought she'd be better than she came off in that match....the crowd had JUST started to warm up and then she did those 0 impact clotheslines and the crowd went right back to complete silence....yikes.

Vaudvillains entrance is trash..It used to a lot better than that...countdown to deavor time.

You know the Vaudevillians were doomed from day one, but the past 3 months has had even the NXT crowds give them absolutely zero reaction. When Full Sail turns on a goofy ass gimmick they think they helped create, there is zero chance of it surviving on the main roster.

I agree about Austin Aries being ice cold. Hes a good hand for the house show stuff I suppose but he has no momentum on the main roster.

The next set of tapings is going to be very interesting, when is that?
