one thing i hate about these taped shows is how behind they are...i mean...Bull Dempsey got fired like 2 months ago or some shyt and he's been on damn near every NXT since :snoop:

yeah came to post about this. Could have sworn he got released.

Nice package for Asuka/Bailey. If it gets time, Apollo/Drifter will be a surprise hit. Tonight's episode was dull though.

Apollo got more babyface cheers out of spite for Samson than he did because he's the babyface, lol. Dude can't sing and barely knows how to pluck strings on his guitar, these NXT gimmicks are getting worse by the minute.

Whole episode was basically a filler match before Dallas. Someone also needs to tell Philips and Graves that bigging up that Tucker Knight guy as a 300+ pounder doesn't work when it's clearly 300 pounds of flab.

No women's matches, huh? Guess they're scrambling to figure out what to do now with Bayley close to moving up and no decent competition for Asuka anywhere.

they have some decent divas down there and a few that havent debuted yet. its just a matter of booking. Dana Brooke is always gonna get heat.. Samantha Garrett is good but i dont know if she's actually signed....Nia Jax hasnt had a match in awhile but i still think with some work she can be decent...they still havent debuted Athena....also Peyton Royce and the other chick with the dark hair and green gear who tagged with her..thugged out Liv Morgan....racist ass Aaliyah :scust: ...they just arent booking any of these women outside of squash matches..

Bit of a throwaway episode, but understandable given it's the last stop before Takeover. American Alpha and The Revival are looking SLICK AS ALL HELL; match is going to be a clinic.

Finn's promo was dull and he waited WAAAY too long to come out at the end, but the brawl with Joe was fun.. especially the announcers getting taken out before they could sign off. Hoping Joe goes over here tbh. Or is the Demon unbeatable on WM weekend? :jbhmm:

Every time I see that Corbin/Aries beatdown I do the :gladbron: when Corbin manages to hit Regal square in the face with the t shirt from outside the ring. Nearly as good as Xavier's trombone tossing. Corbin's heel image is getting more and more over every week with the crowds... actual heat. :blessed:

I feel like Apollo has lost momentum - hopefully The Drifter will do the favours after a surprisingly good match. I don't get The Drifter persona, but he can definitely go in the ring. Is it too perfect a match to get him tagging with Sandow on that "we're your intellectual betters" schtick? I'd rather see Ciampa on the Takeover card at this point tbh.

Great video package for Nakamura. I've not seen much of him outside of the odd clip here or there, so I'm really looking forward to this match. Sami Zayn's not quite over with me, but hopefully this is the showcase he needs to convince me.

I love the way they've built up Dana and Emma to effectively be Asuka's mouthpiece by letting her destroy them week in week out. Asuka doesn't need to carry long promos in a second language if there's a steady stream of vanquished heels warning the babyface that her biscuit's getting dunked.

The weekly show hasn't quite hit it's 2015 heights yet this year, but it's still WAY more worthy of time than Raw which I've been struggling to find time for since LU came back.

You mean Santana Garrett.

I think she just has a pay per appearance deal.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE has officially signed Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano to NXT deals. The two have been working regularly with NXT for several months now, and will be participating in the Global Cruiserweight Series
.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Ciampa and Gargano are actually signed to WWE NXT touring contracts, which differ from regular WWE developmental deals. The two will not be based in Orlando and will not be required to work out at the WWE Performance Center, but neither of them are allowed to work the indy scene.

With regards to Bobby Roode and Kota Ibushi, Meltzer speculates Bobby Roode will be offered a similar deal to that of Ciampa and Gargano, while Kota Ibushi could end up with a regular deal like the one offered to Shinsuke Nakamura. Ibushi’s deal would likely be for less money, however.

In related news, there appears to be some second-guessing with regards to experienced talents like Rich Swann and Biff Busick, as the two are doing developmental tasks like drills and ring crew work. This may have something to do with the type of deals Gargano and Ciampa signed, although that has yet to be confirmed.

The Swann/Busick argument could be made for an experienced talent like Manny Andrade, fka La Sombra, but he has yet to learn the US style of wrestling at the Performance Center.

So... Sami gone. Apollo gone. Corbin gone. Vaudevillians gone. Enzo and Cass gone. It's only a matter of time for Bayley. Finn may get called up soon. Whose left in NXT?

Nakamura, Joe, Asuka, Alpha Males, Nia Jaxx, Drifter... :ld:
