Looks like an NXT Japan is pretty much a press conferance away from being announced.

Meltzer has had it confirmed through WWE that Meiko Satomura is part of it as a trainer who will probably also work matches & seems to think Jiro Kuroshio & Saree are part of it :jbhmm:

Daisuke Sekimoto is the other main trainer/wrestler everyone thinks is part of it.

Kenny Marquez, who wrestles under the name of Jake Atlas has signed a developmental contact with WWE. Currently, Atlas holds the PCW Ultra Light and APW Universal championships.

Recently, Jake Atlas competed in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Battle of Los Angeles last month, losing in the second round to Dragon Lee. Following his performance at PWG BOLA, companies such as All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor would show interest in him, with the latter reportedly offering him a contract.

Earlier this morning, Last Word on Wrestling broke the story, with claims that Triple H called him and that the contract was offered to Atlas at PWG. However, according to SoCalUncensored.com their sources claim this is untrue.

Jake Atlas is expected to report to WWE’s Performance Center in early January.

This is NXTUK-related, but... still NXT.

Can we have a conversation about how Tegan Nox came back built like nikkas imagine Toni Storm is?

shax-attax-nox.gif

Them thighs are what I want from someone whose offense is kick-based. Dakota need to start doing some squats and get her hamstring game up, cause Tegan out here looking like she gotta get her wrestling gear from Fashion Nova, and I'm here for it.

I'm late to tegan nox but :whew:

Four new recruits have reported for training at the WWE Performance Center, strengthening the ranks of WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Fla. The latest group to report includes three independent women’s wrestling standouts and a referee.

Chicago’s Elizabeth Chihaia – aka Scarlett Bordeaux – has made quite the name for herself in America and abroad. The self-proclaimed “smokeshow” has been a standout for promotions like Mexico’s AAA, Ring of Honor and Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Ashley Urbanski, known on the independent scene as Shotzi Blackheart, is renowned for her fierce, in-your-face style. Fans will recognize Urbanski from her standout performance in a No Disqualification Match at EVOLVE’s 10th Anniversary Special that aired on WWE Network. She was presented her WWE contract by NXT General Manager William Regal last month at an EVOLVE show in Atlanta, Ga.

Australia’s Samantha De Martin, also known as “Impressive” Indi Hartwell, has been just that during her time on the indies. The 22-year-old has cited Bayley and Sasha Banks’ epic battles in NXT as her inspiration in pursuing a career inside the squared circle. She’s racked up titles in her home country and for promotions like SHIMMER.

Referee Stephon Smith rounds out the group of newcomers. Smith, a Baltimore native, started out as an in-ring competitor before transitioning to donning the stripes. He’s a graduate of Ohio Valley Wrestling and most recently officiated for EVOLVE Wrestling before joining the PC.
