Rhea Ripley defeated Toni Storm in the tournament finals to become the first NXT UK Women's Champion. Major news from Sunday night's NXT UK tapings (CAUTION: SPOILERS)

Spoiler: What happened during the match

Apparently the ref threw up the "X" sign on Toni and people said the match had an abrupt ending but not by ref stoppage. After the match people in attendance said Toni made it to the back unassisted. No news of any injury so it may not be serious.

Say brehs...I'm about to start binge watching NXT but I don't wanna go back to the reality show shyt w/ Otunga and all that...so how far back should I start?

Is beginning of 2014 a good start? I wanna get the full experience of Owens, Nak, Asuka, Ciampa, etc. debuting?

I just got done binge watching ROH TV from 2014...now I gotta catch up on this...then MLW.

And then New Japan...

Just from the beginning of the Bullet Club...not about to go back to the Inoki/tiger mask 5,389/tape trading days.

the first takeover is February 27, 2014...so yeah start there in 2014

New Japan's been around for what? 50 years??? I don't have the patience to search for that many events/matches. ROH has been around for 16 years but I wasn't gonna binge more than 5 years.

I'll probably just find a summary of NJPW's history on youtube. There's gotta be some kinda DVD or documentary.

NXT 1 Feb. 23, 2010 with Bryan vs Jericho is worth it from the old stuff but that's about it.

Just went back and saw NXT 14 where Cole calls out Bryan the week after he attacked him. Johnny Gargano was one of the security guys for Cole.

Full Sail as in Full Sail University, which is where NXT has held their TV tapings at since 2012. NXT is usually divided into pre-Full Sail (the game show version taped in arenas before I think SD usually) and post-Full Sail (when NXT branding took over existing developmental and started airing as a dedicated developmental territory brand).
