Go check buy rates and ratings for UFC when PPVs and Fight Nights are headlined by anything under lightweight. Conor is a once in a generation hype machine. Eddie Alvarez was not a draw. Dos Anjos was not a draw outside of Brazil. Anthony Pettis and Bendo were not draws. No one gives a fukk about Mighty Mouse.

How fukking weird that people want to see wrestlers that don't look like normal guys in the gym that work out. It's a melodrama. It's over the top. Bigger than life. 5'9" dudes who look like they go to Planet Fitness 3 days a week are not something to get excited about. You can see at least 5 Adam Cole's at any given PF at any time of day, wearing basketball shirts, a muscle shirt cut extra low on the sides, and his hair in a man bun.

HHH wasn't considered or portrayed as a particularly huge guy in his prime, but now all the people he's hiring and taking pics for the gram with literally look like his teenage kids wearing suits they bought at Walmart for prom pics.
