The current WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne, joined the Gorilla Position show & went over working the indies with the UK guys while still carrying a WWE Title. Among many other topics, during a particular portion of the show, “The Bruiserweight” revealed a dream match of his that he has always wanted.

Here’s what he had to say:

Dunne: “Then one of my dream matches would be to go against Neville, so I’d like to do that at some point. It’s definitely something I want to do on the way. I hope so and I hope I get the chance to do so, especially with the added bonus of having the UK Title and the Cruiserweight Title and obviously him being British too. I think it could be a really interesting match-up. Hopefully somewhere down the line if the UK show happens and his run continues then it could happen.”

An Itami feud would be money before moving him on to the NXT title picture.

I was hoping they'd give him the feud with Almas - the solemn, ascetic, deadly warrior monk vs. the vainglorious but occasionally vicious playboy. They've wasted Almas so badly, but I feel like the two of them could bring their experience to the table and really elevate each other. I guess they decided to do it with No Way Jose, though.
