No ember, no McEntire, no Chris Hero, a lot of others weren't there either. It makes sense since NXT's roster is huge now that I think about it.

Ember has a small arm injury and the others could be performing at the NXT show in Florida this weekend.

Y'all Ruby Riot bothers the piss out of me. There's nothing wrong with her wrestling, and she's not noticeably any worse on the stick than any of the other women, but goddamn. It's like she wandered into a porta-potty at Warped Tour '94, and walked out 23 years later. Like, Hot Tub Time Machine, but stupider.

It's so inauthentic. It profoundly bothers me.

And, I'm back on NXT - through pirated means, of course. I saw Takeover and the UK tourney (my FAVORITE thing I've watched so far) and now I'm at the first Full Sail after WM weekend.

Just finished NXT 387, and was it just me, or did Itami seem real pressed about Nakamura's farewell celebration? Because he seemed real put out, within the bounds of manners and propriety.

Oh, I sympathize entirely. I just don't know if it was intentional, building to a storyline, or if he really does feel some kind of way about it. Because he was being so appropriate with his behavior, but his posture and his face were SO CLEAR on the subject. It was like, "I will be as polite as required, but I am not going to be happy about it."

Which makes me think it's a character choice and not just him being salty.

It's probably a bit of both since he and Nakamura didn't get along in Japan, plus he got swagger jacked by Balor a month after he debuted, then he gets healed up and they bring in Nakamura to swagger jack him AGAIN, then he gets hurt AGAIN and has to come back and be happy for this dude about to go up as John Cena's replacement on SD while he is stuck working for the same annoying ass 400 Floridians for another year until he gets hurt again.
