Honestly with the way nintendo is, it wouldn't surprise me for it to be low tech again. When the wifi came out I don't think anyone expected to be so weak especially with the 360 and ps3 as competition. And since that worked for them it's like they've never had to chase graphical power trends since

Nitnendo games don’t really need a powerful system to run on tbh

As long as its on par with a ps4 tthey can squeeze a lot of juice out of what a mario or zelda game looks like on there. The switch is way behind as it is right now, and they still have to worry about battery life, price, size, etc.

Theres a reason the steamdeck is so humongous

Instead of between a PS3 and PS4 like the current switch is, i believe it will be between ps4 and ps4 pro level for the new switch.

Hopefully dock is 1080p - 1440p depending on the game. Handheld is the big mystery and imo is the bigger selling point of the switch.

Nintendo is making so much profit off selling the switch for 300-350 still, it will be interesting to see how the move forward
