Rory and Mal doing everything to avoid saying Joe name is just as childish as Joe putting an emoji on Mal face.

Rory says Joe's name whenever he comes up. Mal, though...never ever ever does.

kinda crazy he's still that hurt..i mean yeah they were boys, but he seen how joe does people dirty, he shouldn't have thought he was exempt. joe gonna only look out for joe

How is that? They know anytime they mention Joe’s name people will make a big deal about it and try to blow it up. Easier to just avoid saying it to avoid drama.
Joe going out of his way to throw an emoji over Mal’s face is purposely looking to stir up drama.
i kinda see it like that too. Rory doesn't even name the podcast anymore, like in today's ep he was like "on the former podcast..."
I think if they would say joe's name or not, it would still route to joe one way or another, but strictly not saying it avoids more headaches than just saying joe's name, even when we know who it is

It seems of late Joe is trying to get them to engage. The pic with the emoji over Mal's face. The IG post talking about making former partners rich. Them telling Ish that the old cohost who he thinks wished him well was lying. Royce on the pod shytting on Mal. That skit for the live tour with all kinds of shots thrown. That's all in the last few weeks. I think they know it annoys the shyt out of Joe that they won't really react.

Right lol. I listened when they first cooked it up, wasn't really feeling it, came back later on, and it seems like they've sort of found a groove. shyt really just jokes the whole time.
Like the one that just dropped and Mal with the Irish mfs can say nicca now or Mal protecting Rory from the crips
