It's a diff vibe to Joe but a cool vibe, it takes getting used to. I think the beauty of Joe's podcast is it is very structured. You can drop into different topics and it doesnt feel like you don't know where the convo is going - some pods are so open it feels uneasy but Joe is very good at keeping the ship sailing. There could be something here to structure the content a little bit so it eases the listen a bit - I am not sure I am confident they can carry the conversation/flow that well. Maybe topics in the corner would work but I think they are doing for a more free-form flow. Guess we will see.

They shouldn't focus so much on the music since they can't be honest about their opinions due to industry connections. Rory did not like that H.E.R. album and its obvious but he's afraid to say it.

The general conversations between them is the highlight of these episodes, they should focus on that and the more free-form style. Bring guest on every other episode just to kick it and not talk about industry shyt.

Good episode. They just need to stick to regular barbershop talk though. I can tell that Rory wants to do a deep dive when it comes to the music topics but Mal can't really keep up. He has surface-level knowledge on anything that's not New York Hip-Hop. Outside of that, I fukk with it.
