I know they trying to make light of it, but co-workers fighting is a big deal. Especially unprovoked. That could escalate in other ways down the line

To me, I heard that Eddin hits like a bytch and Julian handled him as such.
But they definitely gonna fall out later. You can't do that and not peace that up thoroughly. Plus a couple of times you can see Julian start to get tight.

This reminds me of the episodes with the girl Julian had come visit that ended up with another dude. Where it's all laughs and pretending it doesn't hurt but the more they talk the more you can see he's salty as fukk. Edin telling him that he's annoying as fukk was wild to me. Bad enough to punch a dude but then to be laughing about it is next level disrespect. Also ain't no way I'm believing it came out of nowhere like that.

yeah i normally like eddin but this was wild outta line
most think he is harboring resentment, which may be part of it, but i really think he got some unresolved anger/trauma thats not related to this at all
all that being said, R&M been on a pretty good run lately as a collective pod, they found a nice chemistry amongst them, i hope this doesn't derail it

People are losers. I called it in this thread day one. Both are supporting players not the draw. Rory can survive. Mal is garbage water. They won't admit that Joe not only survived he is doing well.This thread got like 9 posts in the last 3 months outside of the brief spurt where all the JBP drama came back up

I thought this would be helpful since those rooms were a mess, a lot of bs to comb thru. Note not all of this is direct quotes rather my key takeaways based on what I heard. Feel free to add/ interject:

Julian and Demaris joined
Julian —> Eddin is clearly not the friend he thought. Julian said there have been several red flags from Eddin after the episode, his reaction, other conversations, ect. (walking to get the tape from the bar) Julian insinuated he did a lot for Eddin behind the scenes because once you are a part of his (Julian’s) inner circle he wants all his people to win (similar to how Rory is with other podders) Julian did not have a sit down with Eddin, but that will happen as well as other internal conversations. He said this is their real life and there’s more to work thru.. Julian states that there is much more to these relationships than the public knows. Eddin was his guy and now he clearly knows Eddin is not or was not his friend. Julian’s family wants him to get a CT scan, they are worried he has a concussion. Everything that Julian said was his true recollection of that evening, nothing that Julian could have said sparked that reaction from Eddin. This is an assault by Eddin, not a “fight” Julian’s perspective has changed on the situation since he received feedback from fans/family/friends. He would have felt differently or acted differently during the show if Eddin apologized before work. People who work in HR who reached out to Julian and from other industries gave their takes to him how this should or would be handled outside of podding. He had one other similar situation to this wherein his friend started hitting him, but there was a verbal fight that preceded the physical-ness. He also cited that situation was vastly different, dynamics, relationship etc.
Demaris was genuinely shocked, had she known beforehand she wouldn’t have wanted this incident to be aired out on camera for content. Demaris has not spoken to anyone else during the holiday break. It sounds like Julian is expecting a conversation with the team and some sort of action to follow - although he said he wouldn’t comment further on this. He said there are a lot of conversations that need to happen internally. Demaris reached out to Julian with genuine concern and Julian appreciated it.
Joe Budden- was listening in like a hoe. He said a few things, 1) Rory DID NOT create sleepers, that’s supposedly a lie. 2) He loves pod wars/ beef and he plans to stay on their ass all year long 3) He made slick comments about the Julian / Eddin situation. He hopes Julian’s Sues NRM because that would destroy the pod. He said that Julian shouldn’t have to work with his abuser. 4) He compared the situation to 1st 48….(Petty)

The reason we don’t get longer episodes is Because Julian & Demaris want quality over quantity. Demaris and Julian feel like it’s the Rory & Mal pod versus a group pod… I thought that was interesting. Demaris said that Rory & Mal would never break up, but the rest of them naturally could go anytime.
Pod is still young, they are experimenting with different segments and they will tour next year, but full plan is still in the works.
Long story less long, this Julian / Eddin situation is escalating. It seems like changes will absolutely follow from this incident.
