Now 13 episodes is too much? :why:

I'm not complaining. But less is more usually

With that many episodes you get to explore a lot more but it also increases the likelihood of pacing issues and filler (think about double albums)

I think they handled it well, but I can def understand why some people would think it was dry/slow in some spots

nikkas sayin dis shyt is betta than DareDevil need to one demselves.

Show has some moments but overall it's a bit of a snooze fest. :francis:

But wit alladat said, Netflix is comin for dat throne. :whoo:

After the first episode I like this better than I did the first episode of daredevil. Daredevil was just dark and depressing

Aside from Claire Temple and Ben Urich (:mjcry:) I wasn't really feeling any of the characters in Daredevil. I barely gave a fukk about Matt Murdock, hated Foggy and Karen, was super disappointed in Kingpin.

On JJ the only characters I outright didn't like were the annoying neighbor chick and Will Simpson
.

Exactly

I finished yesterday and this show is great. It's actually way better than Daredevil. It has depth that Daredevil didn't have, and while Daredevil is better as an action series, this is better in every other way. There's not a character in this show that wasn't given a moment to shine or at least defined. And I think they've all been related to the comics except Clemons, Malcolm and cop from DD. Kilgrave is a sick, demented mofo...then again who could blame him, with those gifts. I'm thinking that this takes place around the same time as Daredevil though. And unlike DD, every side story played some role in the overall season.

I haven't seen enough from Luke Cage that would make me interested in his show. I'm ready for Trish to take up the Hellcat mantle. Maybe they'll make for her use of the pill as having that effect on her. Also, something dealing with IGH. I think they did a good enough job of displaying her power levels. She strong enough to stop and lift cars, bend metal...but always with people she holds hella back. After killing Luke's wife, she doesn't seem to want to really hurt anyone.

I also wished they would've focused more on her PI life. Am I the only one that wants to hear Patsy's full theme song?

I couldnt finish Daredevil. This show is 7.5/10.

Yep same here

:scust: That's why you can't be a superhero and also be dumb as fukk. You have to have super strength and the intelligence to match it. She's all muscle and no brain.

Her decision making skills:scust:

It's like she got dumber every episode:scust:

Breh, when you think about it, was there a likable White male on this show? Who wasn't a scumbag?

Even Reuben was sort of a creep.

Knew I wasn't the only one. White men got ethered hard on this show.

Incest brother:scust:

Derp face Captain America:scust:

Kilgrave:scust::scust:

Kilgrave's father:scust::scust::scust:

I know what you mean and I honestly think it might because 13 episodes is too many

With JJ and DD(i gotta rewatch) there is def enough that can be cut out to make 10-11 really good episodes. 13 is pushing it
I agree with you that 10 episodes per season is probably the perfect number for these Netflix shows.

Emphasis on "damn near"
As I was watching that scene where they were basically clowning him on some "we just need you for sex now shut up" I agree but that was just one scene (and maybe you can add her strong arming Luke too). The fact that it had a mostly female cast is fooling folks foreal, total recall was more feminist heavy
