Out here in my damn drawls
On episode 8 and the hostage situation with Kilgrave and Jessica is hilarious.
Watching them interact to do something good and Kilgrave just walks in like, "Now put the barrel of the gun in your mouth "

He was going through the demonic motions and he was so aggravated at the inconvenience of being "good":russ:

The he goes back to the house and ordered his drones to make him a celebratory chocolate cake for being a hero and tried to convince Jessica at starting a crime-fighting duo. "Can you believe that I almost made that man blow his brains out :heh:"

Finished the show last night.

Only aspect I didn't like was the lesbian marriage subplot.

It was lame and uninteresting. If they had completely removed all aspects of that the show would've been better for it.

I also didn't like Simpson from jump, even when he was a "good guy".

Outside of that it was dope af.

This show and Daredevil are near equal in terms of quality.

They both killed off the black side character :mjpls:

Netflix is 2/2 with their Marvel shows and I can't wait for Luke Cage.

and be deprived of Carrie Ann moss's screen presence? He'll nah.The payoff was also more than worth it. When you compare it to karen/foggy scenes from DD I know which I prefer.

lol character seemed to have been a negative for most viewers. Show felt like it needed some testosterone (when Luke wasn't in it) And he provided it. Having not a clue about who nuke was if that is who he becomes :ehh:great.

Almost done with this and it's incredibly dope. I don't think we'd ever see a marvel movie with this level of rawness but it works so well for tv and Netflix. Perfectly casted, dope action, even turns into a horror movie at times (1,000 cuts) and it's a constant gut punch.

I liked Simpson better when he became Nuke. That whole scene with him pilled out of his mind talking to Jessica at the table was very well acted. Like he was actually fukked up trynna act like hes sober n shyt :dead:. Really felt like a Cap villain there

And the way Jessica beats tf out of him when he was fighting Trish :dead:
