Precisely that. She's the only one ever that he could not control.... which made him obsessively mad confusing his so-called love with the addiction to control everything. He wants her to love him, and she cannot... and he is incapable to make her love him. It's all about control.

His brain and his insides are still vulnerable
which is why Claire had to go through his eye with the needle. His brain was rocked inside his skull by the blast.

I hear what your sayin.. but up until that point it didn't appear he was susceptible to blunt force trauma. If that's the case the explosion would have done damage as well as Jessica throwing his head and body through walls in their fight. Normally in comics having super strength means they can absorb lots of damage as well. otherwise he could be killed in a car crash or if he was simply hit by a car or something. His bones would shatter inside his skin.

Only on ep 4 its not sucking me in like daredevil did. Even though this is somehow getting better reviews than that did.

Most of the time this show feels very network TV

I know what you mean though the writing can be a little in consistent sometimes but it's a comic book show lol. It was still badass with him walking out the explosion though :wow:

Just give it a chance the thing about it is it's more of a psychological crime drama about a fallen hero then a person trying to become a hero like DD. They are both good in different ways

I dunno if he was direct in the explosion hit and it appears he wasn't the way he just walked out.... whereas he took a DIRECT hit when Jessica blasted on his directly. Also, Jessica has a stronger endurance factor and can absorb punches better... the best comparison is her to Spider-Man in that he has super-strength and durability. And she maybe even more STRONGER than Luke, that could be never known because she always held back, therefore we aren't sure what's her full potential strength could be.
