Netflix is 2 for 2 with these Marvel based shows.
Agreed. My only concern is, can they keep it up? Netflix originals have a tendency to start off fire then get worse season by season. House of Cards is still watchable but it's definitely fallen off a bit. OITNB is borderline :trash: at this point.

Jessica had opportunities to kill him yes but her main concern besides stopping him was getting Hope out of prison. That's why dhe needed him to admit and show his abilities.

Watched half on Saturday, half on Sunday.

Series was piff:blessed:, don't even have Netflix :smugfavre:

Edit: I will say the only thing that bothered me was the ending being a little anticlimactic and the changing of Purple Man's real name, it just didn't seem necessary.

Daredevil >>> JJ

I think the effect of the show wore off for me brehs
what episode are you up to cuz the 1st and last 2 are the weakest to me the best are everything in the middle 8-9 especially. I wonder if the lack of hype and standout fight scenes are messing with your mind. I don't know if it's the fact the show already had a script and they just had to tweak shyt for Netflix but it was a better written more layered show than DD. The calibre of actors were much better too

Kids gonna be hella surprised when they watch this thinking it's going to be some fun superheroing stuff and instead get a bunch of interracial anal sex.
Cage's super power seems to be intense and extreme stamina.

Its cool though cuz they have a kid together and are raising her together, later on.

I like that the show deals with the realism of a mind controller.

This show is cool. But for the second season they're going to need much better fight choreography. And they are gonna have to get a more consistent grasp on Jessica's powers. Too many times we saw Jessica struggling against regular goons and other times dominating them.

I'm really hyped for the Luke Cage series, though. He was a great character and they introduced him well.

Daredevil is by the best series. I expect season 2 to be even better with the addition of the Punisher.

On episode 3. I kind of like it better than Daredevil:ehh:
i'm catching up on dare devil, epsiode 6 right now--and i like dare devil more :patrice: i think. i'm not sure.

i dont like any of the side characters on DD, but his story seems more interesting. i liked JJ side characters more, but i didn't like JJ. as for villains, right now its a wash, with kilgrave having the slight edge.

Just finished the series and :whew:

Overall I would say I really enjoyed it and liked the performances a lot. All of the leads did their thing from Krysten Ritter to David Tennant to Mikel Colter to Rachel Taylor to Carrie Anne Moss. Binge watching it makes individual episodes a blur, but I was satisfied with the ending.

They really nailed the detective noir vibe and Killgrave's powers were a perfect foil. The amount of bodies and psychological damage he racked up through the course of the series was :wow:

I would say Marvel is 2 for 2 with these Netflix series :obama:

I liked this more than Daredevil :yeshrug:

Kilgrave da God
RIP

since i always feel the need to throw some negatives in - the fighting was horrendous compared to DD and Carrie Anne Moss and her subplot can fukk off

I'm at the finale but don't get me wrong, the show is pretty good. I guess i just have a problem with the Marvel having their TV and movies co exist because its leading to a lot of inconsistent shyt. For example at the end of Antman we find out that Peter is already Spiderman in NYC. If that's the case how come no one mentions him in JJ or why don't we see other people with abilities if there's 99 ppl with powers just in Hell's Kitchen alone. Hell's Kitchen is like 25 blocks but everyone outside of JJ and LC aren't putting their powers on display? BS :beli:
