Been watching DD again. A lot of people say JJ had better writing and I just don't see it.

The Nelson v. Murdock episode alone shyts on the entire JJ season in terms of dialogue

Finally finished this off.

It was.....okay. it wasn't on the level of daredevil. I enjoyed that it was a noir, it just wasn't a particularly great noir. No complaints on casting. Everybody was solid. Kill grave is probably the best villain to date for marvel. They're 2/2 now.

But the story was far too drawn out. I felt bored at times. There was no reason this needed to be 13 episodes. If this was 8-10 episodes with the fat trimmed it would have been better for it. Halfway through it was just spinning it's tires and not really going anywhere. It really felt like they were stretching themselves thin.

I'm definitely down for season 2 and hope they improve.

I tried watching this and I got through three and a half episodes but it's boring as hell. Daredevil was way better.

I'm having a hard time finishing this my damn self. Its boring as sh*t, the fight scenes are azz, and its almost like I'm watching the same episode over and over again.

JJ was more of a noir/ slow burn show than Daredevil but both were great seasons. Can't wait for that Luke Cage in September
