I think they intentionally overplayed the he's been gone for 15 years and still behaves like a child angle.
That made the show exhusting at times.
Yeah this brings up another gripe of mine. The writing really made Danny seem like a spoiled childish bytch made fakkit.
He doesn't even wanna stay in K'hun Lun to get all the proper training to be the Iron Fist, yet he in NY trying to lead Colleen and Claire to fight The Hand because that's the purpose of The Iron Fist.
To further the point, Danny was getting sonned by every damn body in this series
