I'm not even hyped anymore. I'll treat this like an unobligated chore and watch it when I have free time. I'm going to work tomorrow.

35 on Metacritic and not a single positive review :picard:

Don't think I've ever seen that for any show before.

Season 1 was fire straight through.. once The Punisher went to jail in season 2 the show ran out of steam imo. Eleckta and Foggy cryin' about having to show up to court without Murdock every episode was a chore and tiresome:scust:
The fights in S1 got straight to dvd movie status after awhile

Is anyone still excited for this show? I'm still interested and I'll probably like it. I'm just wondering is the supporting cast enough to add weight to this show. The supporting cast of Luke Cage carried it when Colter was bland, and Jessica Jones quirky group of characters brought balance when it was too dark.

I've loved all of the shows for different reasons, but they should probably do shorter story arcs, with the season's arc in the background. That's why Daredevil S1 was so great. Hell, that's what I loved about the first 2/3 of Jessica Jones.

I was never excited for it but i wasn't excited for DD s1 either and didn't watch it until many months after it debuted.. but once I did (great word of mouth) the show won me over with it's fight choreography and very strong story telling and characterization.

JJ s1, possibly just like you and any other comic fans, I read the original book 15 years ago, so it was cool seeing it come to life.. although i'm curious what they'll do now for s2 since JJ never had much source material to begin with. Maybe the black market street drugs laced with superpowers or something.

Cage, I don't have to get into why that was excellent.

Iron Fist just feels kinda squeezed in. I felt the end of s1 Cage and the end of s2 DD was a good enough ending / prelude to Defenders without needing another show. Tbh I'd have just made Punisher the 4th Defender and called it a day. But yea, i understand 'why' they felt the need to include IF.
