Brehs, those who don't have the game, it's on sale at Target and Xbox store.
If you are downloading 2017 NBA draft class and want one that constantly updated, download thecoli rosters if you got a Xbox 1.
It's up to date and it's fairly reviewed and rated. No Harry Giles and Dennis Smith with 99 potential and a 83. Everyone rated consistent to players in previous drafts who are comparable too. Has a lot of 2nd rounders and Euro guys as well. The summer league scrubs aren't half bad either. A lot of them more valuable than what the auto drafts give you.
In the 2k draft class store, this roster is called "thecoli".
Note: This is the 2017 draft class
@Motife43 @Malta @Gil Scott-Heroin @SteezY @FreshFromATL @charmanderFor NBA2k, here is what my draft class ratings mean:
84-83- Top 5 potential HOF talent with experience – Tim Duncan, KAJ, Magic, Bird, Jordan, Hakeem, Big O
No one in this class has this grade.
82- Top 5 potential HOF talent lacking experience or experienced elite talent who's polished. Shaq, LeBron, Ewing, Iverson, Russell, Pistol Pete
No one in this class currently has this grade.
81- Elite HOF talent who not as polished and elite generational talent who’s polished- A. Davis, Vince Carter, Melo, Jason Kidd, Len Bias, Drexler, Barkley
No one in this class currently has this grade.
80-79- Elite generational talent who’s who not as polished and near elite generational talent who’s polished - John Wall, Markelle Fultz, Ben Simmons, KAT, Kobe, Wade, Karl Malone, Chris Bosh, Nique, Harden, Dwight, KG
After this, I am just basing this from the 2011 NBA Draft. Easier for me. In terms of name look up. That class tends to have most of the balance in terms of types.
78-75- This range heavily varies. Near elite generational young talent who’s a tad raw to Solid potential starter. You get from this Marcus Camby, Sheed, Dirk and Ray Allen all the way to Steve Nash, J.J. Reddikk, Danny Granger, Otto Porter, John Henson and Terrance Ross.
74-72- This range heavily varies. Solid potential starter who’s a tad raw to polished role player. This includes guys like the Morris twins, Vucci Mane, Kawhi Leonard, Iman Shumpert, Marshon Brooks, Kenneth Faried, Reggie Jackson and Cory Joseph.
71-69- This range heavily varies. Potential role player who’s a tad raw to Specialist. These are your Chris Singleton’s, Bojan’s, Singler’s, Chandler Parsons’s, Jon Leuer’s. These are usually late 1st or 2nd rounders in most drafts. Sometimes they make it, sometimes they don’t, sometimes like the others, they become even more.
68-66- These are your raw specialists 12-15 roster guys or high level Europe guys. Lavoy Allen’s, Josh Selby, Travis Leslie, Andrew Goudelock, Isaiah Thomas, Ater Majok, E’Twaun Moore guys.
65-62- Good college players and professionals. These guys are usually good in college. They play Mid-level initially in Europe. D-League starters. Usually not good enough for the NBA for more than a ten-day contract initially.
61-59- Solid college players and professionals. These guys are usually solid in college or good if they went to a smaller school. They play usually play low level internationally or just have a cup of tea. Some play in the D-League as role players. Think about these guys are role players for lower D1 teams and higher level teams in other smaller divisions like D2, D3, and NAIA. Most are almost never good enough for the NBA. This is usually the cut off for summer league talent. I seen a couple mediocre players in the 56-58 range but they are usually someone's brother who stars in the NBA or they are really tall or long for their position in the SL in real life.
58-56- Mediocre college players and good high school players. These guys are usually solid in college at smaller schools and good high school players. They can put in some work at the rec.
55-53- Below Average college player and decent high school players. These guys are usually bench players in college at very small schools or JV players/walk-ons in college and decent high school players. These guys are normally decent in pick-up games but they don’t stand out as someone who played college Basketball.
52-50- Below Average high school Basketball player or solid middle school player. These guys are generally the typical Basketball player with one or two positives and a ton of negatives.
49-47- Just your average to below average middle schooler who can’t player Basketball v. anyone with any type of skill. No one in this game should be a 47-49. Anyone with this rating is like a 0 in the other 2k’s.
Truthfully, in this game, no one even the summer leaguers should be below 59. But we have guys in my class rated below 59 and some even have 50’s. With that said, in this game these below 59ers have the height and length. That makes them so much better than most people who are below 59 in real life. Most(99%) of the below 59ers in this game will not get drafted but this class does have some hidden gems if developed as well as some coli favorites. So enjoy and scout well. Enjoy the 2017 NBA Draft class.
