Dude can't play D for shyt. I'm on the suns(which has to many guards to begin with) He constantly sags deep in the paint. Curry and Lilliard open all game.
From a straight up regular gameplay & customization standpoint, how does this one compare to 2k16? 
I wanna cop and could but I don't have to immediate urgency to upgrade just yet. I don't play myplayer or online anymore I usually just play myleague, make shoes, and play on blacktop from time to time. In that regard, am I cool just playing 2k16 until the actual NBA season starts or should I just jump in to 2k17? Have they changed the controls a lot like they seem to do every year?

is this worth buying full price? or should i jusdt wait for a patch? i just upgraded so i havent played 2k on a next gen console yet
At this point, pretty much. I used to play online fairly often but I've been caught up playing other games so much, I don't get super competitive with 2K like that anymore. I mostly just mess around in my league,blacktop mode, or quick play these days
