The Infamous
Superstar
This reminded me of:
He didn't handle the loss very well after smashing Hamill with illegal elbows (probably a bullshyt call) into oblivion and cried about. I thought it was a bullshyt call but the way he was talking in prior interviews didn't seem to mesh with the persona he was putting out there.
I don't really hold it against him anymore by the way. He was young and getting put into a spotlight being in the ufc probably thought there was a certain way you needed to act. I'll be rooting for him against Cormier.
from what i remenbered from the post fight interview.. dude just thank godWhat the fukk are you talking about, he took the loss really well, both immediately post fight and down the line. He appealed the call, but he never "cried" about the DQ.
Yeah I remember him saying "everything happens for a reason" and other things along those linesWhat the fukk are you talking about, he took the loss really well, both immediately post fight and down the line. He appealed the call, but he never "cried" about the DQ.
The hate for Jones is blatantly racist. He irks me sometimes but that has nothing to do with him as a fighter.
I agree. People demand good ol boy humility and "golly gee you guys I'm just happy to be here" out of young black athletes. It's pretty pathetic
They'll bash Jones for "dirty tactics" like eye pokes but ignore for instance Chuck Liddell was well known for eye pokes, his second fight with Randy and his first with Tito come to mind immediately. Or Hendo who's known for hitting folks in the back of the head or wailing on them when they're outcold. Had Jon done whatever they call that dance that Rothwell did over Overeem to someone every mma site on the web woulda crashed. I remember when Jones choked out Machida and let him drop how folks on other boards were calling for his head, I had guys legitimately heated when I'd ask so what was Jon supposed to do to a clearly unconscious man who he could have further injured by holding him up when the ref is waiving off the fight except release the hold
your avi is real scary manTruth.com. And it was so blantant too, esp with Tito. Lets not stop there. Penn poked everyone in the eye. The funny thing is this happens when he doesn't even throw a punch. Its literally guys running into his fingers and he gets shytted on for it
Or how about Brock "I'M GONNA GO HOME AND GET ON TOP OF MY WIFE!!" Lesnar's ol riding Heath Herring like a horse mid match ass....those cacs just love him, but black fighters are always cocky and arrogant loudmouths to em. Fact of the matter is these whites think that blacks are inferior to them, and it just burns them up to see a black man clearly be superior to em AND let em know about itI agree. If I recall correctly, people hated Liddell for his eye pokes (although it may have not been to the extent of the hate of Jones). I, also, remember Hendo getting shyt for hitting Shogun/Fedor in the back of the head. You're right with the rest though.I agree. Lombard told MMAFighting.com on Tuesday that he was interested in moving back up to middleweight to fight Gegard Mousasi.
"I want to beat him up," he said.
