If the winner of Weidman/Belfort is healthy, why in the world would you them wait till the end of May to defend their title (that'll be almost 6 months)

IDK, the memorial day is one of the biggest cards since its a holiday? You are acting like I am suggesting Jacare take some Evans/Werdum year long hold out for the belt when thats not the case

Yep, I wouldn't mind seeing it either. Romero is a great fighter, but Weidman would beat him easily.

It would be an interesting fight, but I'm seeing a gnp finish by de chris. For someone who won Olympic silver, AND beat Cael Sanderson three times, he gets taken down stupidly easily. Someone like Weidman who sticks to his gameplan is gonna ruin him. Unless another flying knee appears:banderas:

Romero goofs off a lot and at his age that's prob not gonna change. If he had started MMA earlier he'd have been a huge problem

IF. He goofs because his chin still holds up but he's gonna get starched one day. He still looks in good form though, so we might see a title eliminator yet.

My point still stands. Nice try.
I find it hilarious the way you constantly think posturing strenghtens your an argument. How does gassing yourself validate anything. That's the bottom line cuz I said so doesn't fly here u clown. Female mma is still mma if you don't like it cuz they are woman and sloppy you ain't a "die hard". You can label them fans but diehards? Nope.

You really are confused.

Your point: 'UFC would never set up a Kennedy/Weidman main event'
My response: The UFC has set up much worse title fights/main events (like Cariaso/MM), there is no reason to believe why they wouldn't set up this fight.
what am I confused about? You think weidman would headline a Fox show in any capacity in the near future? Mighty mouse is a tourniquet for the ufc everything about him and that division is irrelevant, weidmans first 2 headlined ppvs as champ did numbers ufc are going to put him in fights that will make them the most money once he's done beating senior citizens they'd sooner pit him against bisbing

Just because you don't follow the female counter-part of a specific sport, doesn't mean you are not a die-hard fan. Most hardcore sports fans have very little interest in women's sports (with a few exceptions). For the most part, they just don't give a fukk.

'Female MMA is still MMA' is an awful argument. The WNBA is still basketball, Female tennis is still tennis, and so on.

you are just arguing for the sake of it now I already stated you can't make that gender distinction that exists in other sports with mma because it's unpredictability is a huge part of interest and "martial arts" has no gender. A jujitsu wizard is a jujitsu wizard if you appreciate sick subs you are going to watch a fight with baited breath. Same if you had a ko artist but you get the picture.

don't be simple, you keep bringing up mighty mouse and the opponent he's headlining with when you know that dude is the poster child for this new ufc where they will get a mosquito weight champ to headline a show to disguise the fact they have no stars. Weidman is actually a pivitol piece to their pay per views they ain't just going to throw together any ole fight with him and some goof named Tim Kennedy unless it's a henderson/Jones type deal.. Nobody knows who the fuk Kennedy even is. You think ufc put a charisma challenged Weidman against an unknown? Ok dude :heh:
