Am I the only one who has 0 interest in women's MMA? :heh:

Its not just the fact its women. Its becoming ridiculous now. You can barely sell the 145lb division with a dominate champ in Aldo and the 155lb with everyone not named BJ. They now have 6 divisions that are not draw. Focus on those first

I sorta agree, for men, I think it should have stopped at 145.

Dana needs to slow down a bit, he's watering down his company. What is pissing me off, is the lack of competitor companies other than Bellator all because fighters are so strung up on going to the UFC. I bet if you had an organization with Pride rules in a cage, they'd put on GREAT shows and probably be able to steal exciting fighters from the UFC. fighters are already complaining about point fighters like GSP and Bendo. shyt is boring and taking away from the roots.

As for women, I dont know much about it, seems like 115 is normal? or they should have a 3 division, the current one, the one cyborg fights in (145?) and a lighter one. That's it. Everything else is over saturating.

:rudy: thompson, pettis and melendez could've easily ushered the lw in a new direction but they (esp 2 of these 3) are injury prone thats not ufc's fault.Ufc is bending over backwards to sell aldo as a star but the guy has lost his luster since winning the belt thats got nothing to do with zuffa..You got the likes of edgar and guida moving down through coercion from ufc = clearly an attemt to give the FW division more names..Every fukin fox show has a feather/flyweight presence if that still cant garner attention its just indicative of the fans never buying into the lower weights ever

A lot of casual fans put forth too much focus and attention on WW and above. Which is crazy because, for the most part, the lighter weight divisions are pretty strong (especially the FW and LW divisions).

He's not a finisher and he does tend to cruise a bit (like I've said before), but he doesn't point-fight.

where is the value? you got cyborg and who else? bloated 135ers ready to be slaughtered lambs? :beli:

The division would be shallow at first, but you gotta start somewhere and Cyborg as the champ aint a bad place to begin.Who's to say that a 145lbs won't be any good, if the UFC made the decision to bring in it? A year ago, the women's 135lbs division had no real depth and now you're starting to see some very good talent shine. I just thought a division within the 135 lbs range (145 or 125) would've been better :manny: but I won't complain. Haven't watched alot of Invicta but I'm hearing the chicks coming in can scrap. I support WMMA either way so that means more good fights and more:shaq:
