How y’all feel about Izzy fighting jiri?
Izzy lacks power and we've already seen that he is way undersized to fight slim heavyweights.
I respect him wanting to challenge himself by going up. And I get that he's already shown he's pretty much 185 GOAT contender status. But we have weight classes for a reason. Just because Izzy is tall doesn't mean he needs to go up. Going up would take away his biggest skills in his speed and evasiveness.
Izzy tools anyone at 205 who can't wrestle
Next time he goes up he should commit to it and add muscle though

If Jon Jones somehow beats Stipe and Francis, would his resume be too ridiculously above everyone else's that it negates his test failures and controversies?
Some people argue it already is, but if he pulled it off and retired, I really don't know if GSP, Fedor, Silva, or MM would compare.
If we go in the other direction and JBJ's HW stint is a disaster, we might see the biggest burial by fans and media in MMA history.

For the """""easy""""" legacy boost, to hell with Stipe. Jones should only fight for the belt. It would instantly make him GOAT. NO QUESTIONS, BAR NONE!
That said, he needs to get back in the cage. He can't waste time and he can't let his callous get soft.
Originally I thought he would need a tune up fight but most guys at heavyweight have ko power. I would hate for Jones to get sparked out in a non title heavyweight fight. As big a notch as it would be for Derrick Lewis to ko Jones, I wouldnt want to see that at this stage. If it's Francis and for the belt, the culture wins either way. But if it's Stipe, that would just make a portion of the fanbase even more insufferable.
