Just curious, has DC ever said anything openly political? A long time ago, I remember Roy Nelson (of all people) calling him a Tom, but can't recall him saying or doing anything overtly.
Could see him moving/acting a certain way to get that president's gig or keep those commentary checks coming.

with that said, I can see him with in a higher position as well, liven it up. Former double champ and Olympic caliber wrestler in a head office position is a good look, personality too.

White said he didn’t know what that meant, and also said if Jones wants the fight with Ngannou so badly, he should reach out to the UFC to make it happen. But White also said if Jones watched Ngannou’s decimation of Miocic, he might be wise to forego his move to heavyweight and move not just back down to 205 pounds, but to 185, instead.

Didn't know about either, but the Crowder thing alone is super suspect. But again, there's something about DC where I can say I'm not surprised. Agree that he'd be a better fit as the "face" of the promotion, assuming he's paired with someone who knows how to actually run the operation.
Roy was flagrant with it, but that got buried quick when it happened:
