So Aljo left his old team right before his title fight with Petr :jbhmm:

He did seem a little off fighting Yan. Is Xtreme Couture a good team? Didn’t they ruin Kevin Lee?

He just did his camp there, he still brought his teammates out there to prepare him and Longo worked his corner. Aljo just isn't as good as Yan, the only perceived advantage he had going into the fight was his wrestling/grappling and Yan actually outwrestled him In the fight.

Ajlo was not ready to be in that fight.

Some of his past fights he seemed more composed. This time he kept rushing Yan and throwing a lot of spinning attacks.

On that anatomy of a fighter the made it look like Aljo is now Xtreme Couture. Also Ray Longo said he only worked with him for a month then Sterling spent 3 months at Xtreme Couture.

i don’t care it’s just interesting to change the people coaching you right before the biggest fights of your career. Hope it works out for him.

He had went out there for the Sandhagen fight because Covid rules made it too difficult to train in NY, but he still had his main training partners out there for that one as well. He fought with the high pace against Munhoz as well but that was only 3 rounds, he gotta switch it up in the rematch because that shyt is impossible over 5.

When it rains it pours, kinda shytty for Serra to reveal that Aljo threw him in the bushes right now. But understandable why he’s salty

:mjlol:this Juliana Pena interview on Ariel is exactly why 95% of MMA fighters are terrible trying to talk shyt

Ariel: Do you think you can beat Amanda Nunes?

Pena:....uh it would stylistically be a bad matchup for Her!

:hhh:also Ariel is basically the VladTV for MMA, in a shyt stirring way, I'm conflicted, but eh, fukk it.

Also, Blachowicz isn't marketable according to Dana i.e. doesn't/didn't believe in him as champion.
