Just wanted to say that it's been mad annoying this week watching al the pundits and mainstream MMA and sports journalist talk about how slow and rusty Conor looked.
It's really discrediting Dustin's abilities, game-planning, and his win overall. Conor looked fine. He looked like the normal post-145 lbs era Conor. Dustin even admitted to being almost KO'd in round 1, but he did his best to no-sell it.
The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that if everyone admits that Conor looked fine but Dustin is just the better fighter, it means that the sort has either passed Conor by, or it's in the process of happening. If everyone acts like Conor was just rusty, then they can try to keep making any fight they want, and the public will stay interested. There's too many people in the machine that benefit from a narrative where Conor was full of ring-rust and not his normal self.

@aceboon has said, there's a different discussion as to the differences in Conor at 145 lbs and Conor afterwards. But the Conor we saw on Saturday IMO looked just like every other Conor we've seen since the Aldo win. I've even heard people say he gassed.
By gassed do they mean he got KTFO?
