Yet he keeps giving cowboy chances:martin:
This is down right embarrassing. Woodley a way better fighter than Cowboy ever was but this fall off is basura. He’s def destroying his legacy. Cowboy’s legacy in the ufc is just being dependable and pretty much gate keeper status. Woodley was a contender that turned champ and defended it 4 times.

The crazy part is I'm 100% convinced that Tyron would fight like this regardless of who you put him in there with right now. Literally, like even some no-name dude off the indies. Whatever is going on is between his ears.

It's like if a Major League Baseball player put some years in, won a World Series or a Golden Glove or two, then out of nowhere he comes back for the season and is scared of the ball. Covering his face, whiffing, making all kinds of errors and shyt, and playing like he's scared. Camera cuts to him several times in the game and he's a deer in the headlights.

I don't know of a strategy or sparring partner that can fix that. Bruh either has a psychological block or just flat out doesn't have this fight shyt in him anymore.

I've always compared Woodley to broner
Hype that's fizzled out, no punch output, and either they don't listen to their corner or they're surrounded by yes men

On one hand I feel you but Woodley has a higher peak than cowboy ever did. Woodley’s a former champion and has now lost 15 rounds in a row. Cowboy is older and past his prime but is still looking competitive when he doesn’t win. I actually thought Cowboy barely edged out Price on the 2nd and 3rd round.

I don’t know what’s going on with Woodley but I’ve watched and trained mma since 1999 and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a fall off quite as strange as Woodley. It really seems like mostly a mental issue to me. His skill set is there and it doesn’t seem like his cardio is shot, and he hasn’t lost a chin or anything.

after the 1st and definitely after the 2nd round, woodley’s body language screamed that he didn’t want to fight anymore. I agree with @True Blue Moon it really is like he does not want to compete in the octagon anymore.

I really don’t want Demian Maia to sign the papers to fight Khamzat
