Man... Dana White really feeling himself.

He bounce back at Masvidal, "We're not begging people to fight."

I have watched UFC a long time, caught all the big fights, and always call out fighters being to p*ssy to unionize. Now, I'm kind of done with Dana smug bullshyt and his drama. Outside of watching a free show on someone else TV. I'm think I'm done with UFC and their slave tales.

You really gonna bully dudes giving themselves brain damage while you take in 90/10 cut. I'm done.
That's gonna come back and bite him in the ass someday. The UFC is only as big as it's fighters/talent pool. You already got three of the biggest draws ready to walk, and best believe others will follow suit, especially if said draws find greener pastures in other orgs. Then the UFC will no longer be the biggest dog in the yard. Dana's gonna find out the hard way that Conors not gonna be able to carry the company on his own, especially when he loses.

Nothing against Durinho, but stuff like this is why MMA fighters will never get fair compensation. Too many fighters don’t see the bigger picture.

He might as well have posted, “Oh yessa boss Dana, I’s is loyal and I’s works hard.”

Gilbert Burns been fighting since 2011 and has prob made less than 500k his entire career combined. Of course he’s gonna be a company man.

people keep talking about a fighters union like as if there’s some kinda precedent for it. They keep talking about the Ali Act in boxing, that didn’t get passed because boxers came together or because ppl gave a fukk what they were being paid. It got passed because the corruption and sports rigging in boxing was getting too public. Thats not a thing for UFC or MMA in America

fighters need to negotiate better and stop whining on social media as if the fans can save them, shyt is beyond pathetic

Dana got a tresure trove of fighters simply trying to make money to eat and have a place to live while sharing living quarters.

MMA fighters are fukked harder by their bottom feeders than the NFL.

Dana is playing a game of chicken and betting on the UFC brand to stay afloat while creating new stars to rise.

Jorge main event a PPV with $500,0000 base pay that cracked 950,000 buys with 7 million at gate

UFC constantly undermine their fighters. Double/Triple main event, $50,000 fight night bonuses, "Backroom" undisclosed bonus given out by Dana discretion, undisclosed ppv points, oversaturated prelim cards(Nobody brings up TV deal profits), UFC taking away fighters apparel and promotion gear to Reebok. I don't even know if fighters make royalties off of Fight pass. They probably don't.

They only get 20-30% royalties from their UFC apparel. UFC is just a human meat grinder conjob factory that brainwashes you into believing its a Brand first, fighter second.

Then, it doesn't help that UFC got these errand boy fighters.

I can agree with all that.

Though in some cases the guy paid fairly well.

sometimes I look at purses and I remember seeing a couple years ago Frankie Edgar made $600k in a calendar year (say three fights averaging $200k each).

it’s not mindblowing money but $600k seems reasonable for a guy like Edgar, no?
