Considering Hardy started his first amateur mma fight about 700 days or so ago how you see his progress

Yo Fight Fam, I'm really happy with an interview we had on my podcast last night and the entire front half of my typically current events focused show wound up strictly about the combat sports world. We brought in a long time friend and recently turned Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt out of Subforce BJJ, Anthony Corea.

The show starts with us recapping the UFC 244 fights that stood out . Then we had a long discussion about Anthony's experience and journey from his start as a white belt to 12 years later as a black belt. He talks about the mentality needed and the challenges as well as his love for the sport. We also get into some of the best BJJ tournaments that are televised and bounce around grappling discussions. I think it's a great discussion for any fight fans. Full disclosure though, after around the half hour mark, we move on to our usual current events format where we mix politics, current news and jokes...so feel free to jump off when we get to the "what BJJ expert choked Epstein though" section lol

I'd really appreciate any looks yall give us and feedback is always welcome. Share it if you enjoy!

Here's a full timestamped breakdown so yall can skip around to the parts you're interested in or hear us all the way out.

I don’t know who the other two are but one of those gifs is Arlovski who gets knocked out by anything and everything. Knocking out Arlovski is pretty much a right of passage at heavyweight. I need to see him do that to a live body.

The Arlovski KO is more telling than u might think, he hasn’t been KO’d in his last 8 fights (and looked real good in his last fight). Last guy before Jair to do it was Francis.

So...I don't think Zabit is going five rounds with anybody that has technically sound footwork. He blamed Staph but the dude gasses late in the second round every time. I don't think he or Volkov had a particularly impressive win this weekend, not enough to help their stock much. Volkov picked Hardy apart but was playing it safe, rarely swinging with intent to finish. Zabit gassed. Danny Roberts had the best weekend of anybody.

Sidenote: Did yall see Stamp Fairtex vs Bi Nguyen? Prolly my favorite fight of the weekend. These muay thai women are gonna be fun to watch cross over with their clinch games. Stamp is probably the top one to watch.
