Yeah, that MacDonald interview was odd. Bruh should retire if his head isn't in it. He looked like a deer in headlights.

But sidenote, why is the champ defending his belt all throughout the tournament? Seems like it makes more sense for everyone to be fighting for that number one contender spot.

Who knows why Bellator do the things that they do? Who the fukk would willingly sign Jon Fitch and put him in a main event in 2019?

If Viacom didn’t own them and DAZN didn’t give them $90 mil, they’d be bankrupt so fast. I don’t know what Coker and Rich Chou are doing but they’ve had some horrible match making and production values for the last two years.

Rory wouldn't have had anyone to fight while the tournament is going on

I don't mind Rory fighting in the tournament but him fighting in 5 rounds every fight is strange

Tryin their hardest to get the belt out from his hands. No1 wa t's to see him fighting 5 rnd title fights ne more. He's not a big draw, but his skills ands tyke are still hard to beat.

Bruh I’m relieved to sense the disgust in your post because I was legitimately annoyed and irritated every time they showed that bracket with the champ having to fight his way through it lol. And you’re right, that Viacom and DAZN money is saving their ass right now.

I always feel this way after watching a Bellator card, I feel like I've let down my ancestors down by watching this parade of cacs shovel low level entertainment in our faces

One of the complaints Rory had when he first signed with Bellator was he wanted to be more active. I don't think he would want to wait around until a WW tourney is finished, before defending his belt again. We know how long the tourneys can take :francis:and I don't see them doing the old Bellator route and giving him a non-title fight against someone to stay busy.

I was half watching the fight and Nuggets/Spurs at same time. When I was looking at the fight, I was surprised at how well Fitch was able to control him on the ground, but can't really comment on scoring.

Hearing about his post-fight comments, it does seem like Rory's days of fighting might be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
