155 far better, deeper with more appealing matchups from an entertainment standpoint. Woodley, Covington, and Usman are your current top 3 from a rankings standpoint, none of them are really entertaining to watch, and you can potentially adding boring ass Askren to that mix if he can measure up. Then you got low output counterstrikers like Till and Wonderboy still hovering around there, Masvidal doing the bare minimum to try to win split decisions, WW really does nothing for me. UFC needs to give Leon Edwards, Vicent Luque, and Zileska dos Santos a shot at guys higher ranked to see if they can shake shyt up.Dana’s not gonna give Nick or Tyron that fight. Especially with 179 being the most stacked division in the sport right niw

You can add Poirier to that mix, and I was adding the entertainment factor on top of the talent factor, you're discounting that shyt like it doesnt matter when evaluating a televised product. lol @ Lee vs Iaquinta being trash, just to compare recent main event fights involving top contenders b/w the two divisions it was a far better fight than RDA vs Usman. Khabib isn't really my cup of tea but he's in the same boat as Covington and Usman, and I would rather watch him than either of those two.lol entertainment doesnt make a division stacked
155 isnt even that entertaining, last weeks main event was trash
Khabibs exciting now? You got Barboza, Gaethje, and Ferguson. Conors not in the discussion until he fights more than once every 2 years.
If we're talking top to bottom most stacked division; Featherweight never gets in the conversation but it's pretty fire right now. Max, Aldo, Frankie at the top; all were undisputed champions who defended their belts. Zabit and Volkanovski both looking like they should rise even higher in 2019. Plus you got a nice mix of vets (Mendes, Stephens, Cub, Lamas, Zombie) with guys that are starting to or have recently been making noise (Moicano, Bektic, Yair, Emmett sorta).
Agreed its a fire division. I think Max's next fight he goes up in weight
Frankie Edgar is my favorite fighter but I think there are better & bigger names for Max
I'm dying for Max vs Tony regardless of who has belts or not just because of the styles and pace they set. But I've also come around some to the idea of Max being like an old school division dominating champion like Aldo, Jones, GSP and Silva were during their runs. Max beating Frankie would notch another future HoF'er under his belt and buy time for things to sort themselves out a bit with Moicano/Aldo; Zabit/Stephens; and Volkanovski/Mendes. We could come away from those three fights with a title challenger and then set up contender match between the odd two out. The bigger fights are definitely at 155 between Khabib, Ferguson, if Conor comes back and even maybe Nate Diaz (Luke Thomas is the one I think that pushed this idea); but I think for a lot of the hardcores in the community a run of Edgar, Volkanovki and Zabit would be the type that everyone appreciates. Max is so young, he'd still have plenty of time for 155 after too.
That's a good look for the ESPN+ debut, although another instance of the UFC scrambling to find headline fights and robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Yep. If there is nothing legally keeping him from work then I have no problem with it.No matter what card Hardy would be on someone would complain.
