One making power moves while UFC is basically going underground.

Edit: Jumped the gun. It’s another streaming deal. Means nothing

You don't think y'all are shytting on the ONE deal prematurely? It says in addition to the streaming app, they're airing shoulder programming on TNT.

I don't know what that time zone difference is like for live fights in Asia, but that could mean a live fight card lead-in to the broadcast the same way that FS1 does UFC's prelims before a PPV. And I'm pretty sure that all their cards are free on their site.

Even better if they house some events in the states. Like let's say they do a show in LA, they could run the pre-show on TNT before airing a card on their site to watch DJ or Sage or whatever American star they're pushing.

Anything that gets ONE more exposure is good to me, their shows are on pretty early morning with the time zones (I wanna say 8AM last time I watched but I may have woken up to play fights back). I really just want to see how they go about promoting these incoming name talents. MM is supposed to get a gaming push and Sage was talking about opportunities outside of fighting; it seems like they'll be going about this completely outside the box from what we generally look at with prize fighters.

I think those two in particular are perfect for Asia. DJ is a gamer that looks like the tiny, cool character that the kids would love. Sage looks like your prototypical American action hero, so them giving him some movie opportunities is perfect.

Eddie said the deal is sweet for him financially and a partnership. Plus Miesha Tate gets a new and different opportunity in the front office.

I'm happy for these guys and hope it all works out.

Exactly, they seem like they’re really looking out for the fighters and working with them (literally with the staff and figuratively with the signees). I get the skepticism from some talking heads like Luke Thomas, but I feel like it’s reaching to hate. “They exaggerated again” ...and the whole of mma Twitter was talking about them again. They’re making a push and they’ve gotten themselves into the conversation and the same cats that complain about ufc (rightfully so) are pot shotting the organization.

On Instagram Faber said Sage’s deal was really good.
