this weight cutting bullshyt is sad, this ain't what martial arts is supposed to be about.

There's gotta be some protocol to nip this stuff in the bud. If you walk around 200+ lbs you shouldn't be fighting at 170.

Exactly. Dudes try getting to impossible weight cuts so they can fight in a division they think they can power through. I don't like the thought of adding more weight classes. They need less. It should go by 20s
120-139
140-159
160-179
180-199
200-219
220+

The weight classes have been bothering me for a bit. I don't know if it's all the intern Champs or the missed weights. I just think there's too many belts now. It's like cool, you're the baddest 187 pounder but there's a guy that weighs 174 and 198 that have a belt to. And there's even 3 classes crammed in that 165-175 weight

A little off topic, it's just been bothering me the past year or so for some reason

I favor him against Cody

Of TJ, Cruz, Cody; I think Cody's style would be the best for Moraes to capitalize on...dude feints a lot and Cody loves his counters. Moraes has hands but the KO power is in his legs, so I'm not sure he could avoid the speed and power that Cody or TJ pack with their hands and then Cruz is just a dude who is so awkward it's hard to tell how fighters will respond to him. Jack Slack was writing about how Moraes adapts though and it made me more intrigued to see him deal with the top three...still...I had Dodson winning against Moraes so that's not a good sign.

Word...

UFC 225 is this weekend but I don’t have time for the podcast this week. I’m pulling for SOG tho!

Yeah I saw some stats and the amount of people missing weight doubled when they switched to the AM weight ins

Also, before early weigh ins the guys that missed weight lost more than they won which has flip flopped since the early weigh ins were implemented and this year guys that missed weight are undefeated. Mike Bohn at MMAJunkie had a piece about it.
