when all dana could say (when asked what are u going to do if GSP doesn't fight again at MW) was "I will be really pissed" I knew it was a forgone conclusion. So they derail the MW division x2 for bisbing, dana basically buries the WW champion to justify this so called "dream fight" no one ask for. And in the end it amounts to nothing but a feather in GSP's vanity project? what a mess..Glad for whittaker but dang rockhold takes 15 months off only to beat branch and get a title shot again? cant believe I am saying this but I would actually prefer it had been Weidman in this instance. Yeah I know but gasbum was billed as the next big thing and he finished a top 10er

Whittakers the champ, been the champ. Nothing was derailed and who the fukk would rather see Whittaker vs Weidman than Rockhold?
GSP coming back and winning that strap was a great moment and thats all this "sport" amounts to, moments.
GSP did the division and the UFC a favor. Bisping was a bullshyt ass champ that held the belt hostage while not even being a top 5 fighter in the division. GSP came thru and whooped his ass, got the belt off him and elevated Whittaker to the real champ that everyone already felt he was. Now we get the best fight in the division in a couple of months with Whittaker/Rockhold, GSP should be applauded for what he did.

The UFC should not have allowed Bisping to duck Romero/the other contenders earlier this year then.
GSP should have vacated but he should have never gotten the fight in the first place.
