Wasn't pretty weak to me, too many women fights although I watched the Miyu Yamamoto fight just off the strength of her being a milf. Gooch finish was nasty, wish his fight could have gone longer just to see more of his skill being displayed but thats me being greedy.

@trick just seen this, thought it was Kunlun that he was already signed with but its Glory of Heroes, I could see Bellator making a play too since they could offer him the opportunity to kickbox.

Adesanya revealed he has been targeted by the UFC, admitting he “will go shopping as a free agent” once his contract ends with Chinese kickboxing firm Glory of Heroes.

“We’ve already got a couple of fights line-up, some big fights in the kickboxing realms,” Adesanya said.

“He’s a big name, so once I take him out the it’s better for me. There’ll be more eyes on me.

“Already the UFC has been pestering me but I’m contracted elsewhere. This is another notch to add to my belt so the stocks will rise.”

Adesanya said while he was determined to earn a contract with the UFC, he would not make a move unless the deal was financially adequate.

“At the end of the day, I’ve got to look at for me,” Adesanya said.

“Kunlun just jumped on with AFC and I’m sure they’ll try and keep me around, so the UFC has to play ball.

“If they don’t play ball and come up with something mutually beneficial for us, then I’ll have to look elsewhere and there’s options everywhere.”

The crazy thing is he made all the adjustments he could and it still ended up like that...Jones is so damned good.

I think the biggest two things he did was he didn't really clinch with Jones he stayed in dirty boxing range... trying to throw hands which I think was his best chance but also gonna get him hurt which it did.

Also constant pressure. To me it was only a matter of time before Jones was gonna counter off Cormier. He kept making beeline marches straight to Jones and that thing about Cormier dropping his head to the left when Jones saw that dip start to happen in the third and timed his first head kick. Either great game plan for coaches or Jones is becoming a better iq fighter in the octagon. Maybe even both.

Cormier need to go to heavy go try and beat Jones

Meltzer noted that he's been told UFC wants Lesnar to go up against Jon Jones but that would depend on what happens this coming weekend at UFC 214. Jones is scheduled to face Lesnar friend Daniel Cormier for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title. Meltzer speculated on UFC grooming Jones to be a big superstar and the feeling is that there could be a major coronation if the 30 year old beats Lesnar.

"I would love to fight Brock Lesnar. He's a massive dude. I mean, it would be a massive draw. Really big for the sport. It'd be a great challenge. That's a big ol' boy. I doubt Brock Lesnar would take that fight, though. I definitely wouldn't try to wrestle with him the whole time. I would … you know what, I wouldn't tell you what I would do."

The Associated Press contacted Lesnar later in the day for a response to Jones' comments and The Beast had the following to say:

"Would I fight Jon Jones? Anytime, anywhere. Right now he should be worried about D.C. on Saturday night."

He then discounted the credentials of the man the fight has been given to: Michael Bisping, who won the middleweight title in June 2016 and his lone title defense was against the soon-to-be retired Dan Henderson in October of last year.

"When was the last time Michael Bisping fought? Think about it. I've fought four world title fights against actually the No. 1 contenders. Has he ever fought a No. 1 contender?" Woodley said. "I fought the No. 1 contender twice, I fought the No. 1 contender after that and I fought the world champion - who was Robbie Lawler at the time - before that. I'm the only one that's going by the old set of rules.

Woodley spitting what we been saying in here for a minute. Thats my "making the Cacs mad" champ

The set-up was really epic. I got to play it back a few times bc I DVR'ed the card and Jones' body work from jump was on point but especially in the third. He threw a straight left to the body that brought DC's hands down a bit right before that head kick KO. DC's willingness to walk only low-line kicks and body work was really bad, he was getting chewed up to get into range in that first and third. We had discussed it before, but it's just Jones' skillset is perfect to stop DC. There's no one better built for that. I think at HW, DC is a tough match-up for Miocic so if Jones sticks around to take on Gus and then maybe Oezdemir to clean the division out; maybe DC can jump up and make a run...Cain's been gone too damned long to keep avoiding the division.
