Let's not undermine lee's win, chiesa was out classed. The early stoppage did more to take away from Lee getting a legit finish than robbing Cheisa

If there is a fighter that has had his stock skyrocket in the past few months, its Lee. Gaethje coming to the ufc with the hype then winning over the weekend did alot for him as well. Dude was getting mad love when he appeared on screen at 213

So thats how it kinda make sense to match them up. As much as I like Barbosa, the ufc brass would rather try to sell a Lee/Gaethje because both are red hot
I got to admit that those are good points. :ehh:
I still gotta think that if they want to build up Lee (which they should) then having him run into a juggernaut like Gaethje is not the best decision right now. Lee is good but I think even Chiesa dropped him, iirc. I don't know who Kevin should face but I think he's one bad loss away from being out of contention for years.

If this is true...Dana, WHAT ARE YOU DOING :gucci:

Trying to kill 2 birds with one stone? put bellator out of business, Viacom might have money but I don't see how the company is making any to handle all these contracts. And letting all these fighters go weakens the anti-trust lawsuit.

Dude literally says a bunch of nothing every time he talks. I can't stand his dumbass. How he got to be some type of figurehead in the media is beyond me
:yeshrug: I remember when Canelo last fought on Cinco De Mayo he was talking about how Conor is a bigger fighter/star than Canelo and has sold out the bigger crowds. Then someone told him that Canelo did AT&T stadium in Texas aka Jerry's world. He did the :hubie::hubie::hubie: he's getting to become a bigger star now too. He has a comedy tour. I used to beef with him on my early days on twitter he blocked me but unblocked me I guess we cool now. :manny: I try not to go hard at him but sometimes it's things like this that's :russ:

I think he means a WCW/Turner situation will happen where someone will go look at the money this company is paying these guys. Only thing tho is Viacom is happy with Bellator and MMA actually draws ad revenue
