The clip they showed was the sequence proceeding the KO to the actual ko. The caption read as 'remember when nate marquart did this to the current ww champ' At no time in that clip or any promo footage do they allude to nate winning the strap in that fight..and even if they did? Let's be frank he's a prelims dweller from here and beyond, selling his fight pass headlined fight at the expense of the welterweight champion is just counterintuitive. To deny or defend it is just ridiculous,what they did, at best? Was clumsy and at worst? Was just disrespectful

I know you get easily confused but I used 207 as an example as to how UFC are purposeful in how they do things. 207 they gave Ronda a video reel, no footage of the fight or nunes even. UFC 168 'leave no doubt'couldn't stop showing Anderson's KO.
I think it's safe to assume they felt it was ok to do that cuz the fans hate Woodley

Are you dumb? Do you not know the history of combat sports and race? It always sells, from Jack Johnson to Floyd. Woodley doesn't have a personality or characters. Hes an analyst and an actor. You would know that but we already established your casualness. Hes pulling race into this to trigger racist cacs and griveance seeking militants to buy the PPV.
