Firstly conor indicated to UFC that he's taking 10 months off, whether than was a bluff or legit (due to his girl being preg'd) they've called it and he's out of their immediate plans. To answer your point he fought 3 times in 2016, and sans the eve of new years eve, was the main topic of discussion for most of last year. Before Dana went on the herd and made the announcement (about ronda) it looked like she had absconded. Ppl keep saying Connor is licking his chops but I don't think the situation is any different than last year.

Conor is one of the few fighters that craves the media though. The worst he'll do is what we already saw post diaz which was nothing.If he pulled a Ronda he'd be cutting into the profit of his brand

Well he would do media with his own production as oppose to UFC's and he would bet on his own brand. I think a legit reason Conor gave Dana was that he didn't want his girl stressing while he fights while she is pregnant so he decided to chill

Went 3-0 this year, against top competition in her division with wins over Valentina, Miesha, and Ronda. In the case of the latter two, pretty much destroyed them.

Was the main event for UFC 200 and 207, 2 of the biggest ppvs of the year.

Finished the year cutting a promo about how she knew she would beat the shyt out of Ronda Rousey and urging fans to forget about her

So mad at myself. Spent a lot of money on presale tickets thinking they would bring some heat to the Barclays center.

Not sure if I would watch the sh1t on PPV let alone spend all this money to go there.

Any chance the card isn't finalized yet and Anderson Silva will get booked or something? Cuz right now this is the worst card I can remember. And I'm stuck with tickets

Just resell the tickets now on resale websites and on Craigslist.
