Conor being 2 division weight champ means nothing in the long run cause UFC hasn't let anyone do what he has done

It's been my long standing opinion that Conor will never fight at 145 again. Even his team was laying seeds of that before the Aldo fight. He was having trouble making the weight. In addition, he's pretty much beaten every contender at FW(aside from Edgar), so there's no real incentive for him to drop back down to 155.

He's got a lot of intriguing matchups at 155. He can fight Khabib, El Cucuy, Diaz again or just take some time off. He's fought 3 times since the Aldo fight last December.

Something tells me Conor's next fight will just happen to be during Ramadan

Conor certainly sounds like he's trying to avoid fighting Khabib for the time being: McGregor on potential bouts with Khabib, Woodley

"He's fought once in eight years," McGregor said. "He ain't fight too frequent for my liking. For me to commit to something like that, I need to see solid proof that people are gonna show up and he's a consistent pull-out merchant. He had a good performance tonight. Fair play to him.

"I need to see active. I need to see activity. I need to see consistency. I need to see me. If you want me to come and change your life, if you want me to come pick you, you better have some damn reasons for me to do that."

That being said, I think Conor can win. Khabib got touched up by MJ early and was on roller skates before he got the clinch.

I agree with you he's not going back down to 145 and now it's really interesting with the whole Holloway vs Pettis match up basically a number 1 contender eliminator... loser should face Edgar and winner should face Aldo for the strap...

Khabib I think can beat Conor, RDA will neutralize Conor's left because he is southpaw too... Fergerson did well against RDA so that's an interesting match up too. The Diaz trilogy is cool but Diaz should win like 2 in a row to build that fight up it's too soon.... for UFC to milk it

That mental edge is real. Conor has most these guys beat b4 they even get in the ring. Had Eddie completely abandoning his game plan.

So is Conor gonna sit out until his kid is born? If so, might as well book Khabib vs Ferguson. He deserves a break anyway.
