It makes sense for him to fight in NY... they just wanna really pull in good numbers at MSG. Tickets gonna be expensive too

breh, they already charging 1599 (the cheapest for 1) for vip experience and mid level seats. I had a flight reserved but i might have to cancel that shyt. i aint trying to pay 8-900 for no bleachers.

anyway, i think alvarez is a live dog. honestly, i felt this would be a easy fight for connor a month or 2 ago but i changed my opinion. at 155, i just don't see him walking over guys like he did at 145.

Pre Diaz rematch Eddie is the favorite..but Conor showed his metal and what he went through in his last two fights Eddie Alvarez has been doing for years. He's really shopworn. Though he may be surprise

agree but i also think connor has shown in both of those diaz fight, that he's a front runner or dangerous in the first 2 rounds. he loads up on all his shots and spending all that money on his training camp, his stamina looked like shyt. if he can't stop eddie in 2 it might be long night for him. i love this fight though.

Eddie will do him like he did Petit, take him to the ground and just lie on top of him...

I think Eddie will fight "not lose," and implement a "very safe game plan"...
I really see the UFC brass "incentivize" him to make it exciting. First one in NYC has to be exciting.

It's not fair, it continues a logjam that diminishes a division...but I'ma just look at this from a strategic stand point as far as planning for the future.

FW Division: So Conor's still delaying. I wouldn't have Aldo wait. Aldo vs Holloway is a match to make, it'll establish the winner as a legitimate FW contender by either letting Aldo string back to back wins over dominant fighters in the division or giving Holloway a win over an elite opponent. That would help sell either guy vs Conor next to fans who disregard Aldo for the KO loss or Max for no wins over stars. With Franky vs Stephens and Lamas coming off a loss, that'd leave Pettis vs Cub as an option to start setting up the next contender also though I'd be cool with Pettis vs Barao too just because it buys Pettis time to adjust to the weight cut and has some intrigue (sort of).

LW: Khabib got next obviously imo. Ferguson vs RDA was the rumor I'd heard which is cool to start lining up another contender behind that, but I don't think either fighter would want to wait. Since you've got Conor vs Eddie which oughtta be huge; the best way to squeeze Nate into that picture is to line him up against the winner of Ferguson/RDA (potentially a rematch but he was hurt for the first RDA fight). On the outside looking in, you've got Edson Barboza. I'd probably try to get him a fight with Will Brooks (assuming he wins). So winner of Conor/Eddie/Khabib faces winner of RDA/Ferguson/Nate while Edson/Brooks establishing a guy who could break in.

It could be more interesting though since Conor comes forward and throws volume while Pettis lays back sometimes and fights off his backfoot. If Conor could back up Eddie and lay some volume to the legs and body (like he did with Mendes); the fight gets interesting as it wears on.
