If you actually understand the sport you would never put Rogan over Stann. Stann is the best color commentator in MMA. Only comparable guy is Pat Militech.

Yeah, that's a perfect explanation. Stann is more informative and can see things coming really well, strategies and set ups...but he's hella vanilla. He doesn't really hype the match well, which I guess they could fix with a better color commenting partner. Rogan is repetitive but he knows how to hype the moment a lot better. Honestly, my favorite way to watch fights lately has been with the Rogan fight companion vids. They have multiple guys, completely off the cuff and if a fight sucks they just go podcast status. Most of those discussions play out similar to what convo's at my crib are like while fights go, except we make a lot more steroid accusations
