:camby: Jacare really couldn't do shyt to him when they first fought and Rockhold has improved tremendously.
Thats cause he underestimated him. What the fukk does Yoel have for Luke? He's gonna eat kicks, take Luke down, do NOTHING with it except avoid getting subbed and then by the time round 2 starts he's gonna be gassed :camby:

Gimme Jacare or Vitor for the fukkery

I wonder if the UFC staff is on the same wave length as Conor they give him rope but I wonder if they really on his side or just using him.

I think for the time being they're using each other and are happy to do so. I do see a time where that changes if Conor becomes more powerful than they'd like him to be.

I think Conor and the UFC have something similar to what Ronda has with the UFC (although possibly less now that she's lost) which is basically a handshake. Conor goes to the UFC and goes, "I'm going to make you a lot of money" and the UFC says "Okay we are giving to give you the platform and the resources to do it."

So far they've worked amazingly well together. Conor and Ronda have both been very good about not only promoting themselves, but promoting the UFC as well. At the post-fight press conference, Conor went out of his way to thank the media, which is something I've only heard Floyd Mayweather and a few other fighters do. Most don't. To that extent Conor is very much a company man, and we always made sure to talk about the UFC and himself as "we" or "us".

Conor has talked about wanting to co-promote too, and that could be a point of contention one day. But for now they're making money hand over fist. The big crossroads will be when Conor takes an L, or when Conor wants more than they want to give him.

Both parties are definitely too smart to show any disrespect for the other in public and if there's ever a time where either does, I'd assume that behind the scenes the situation would be awful.

That's when da next big young thing comes in and the ufc pushes them to beat Conor, and the next wave begins. The Aldo run was great for ufc as along wit Anderson and Barco it helped increase ufc in Brazil and make ufc a Lotta money. Now it's time for Conor to make ufc some euro money as Gus failed to dethrone Bones.

This is the problem with the 170 division it's OK that GSP is gone, the problem is no1 really has stepped up to be that guy to market. The real Mia fans luv the Lawlor story but to casual fans they still have no clue who Lawlor is, don't really care bout Hendricks stoll and every1 is just waiting to see who will be the next guy to take that division over.

Maybe sum1 from 185 tries to drop down, or a 155 moves up, who knows.

Do you watch fights at all? Yoel has nearly had everyone hes fought in dreamland at on point or another. You cannot take lightly a guy who has the kind of explosive power he does. He can end a fight when you least expect it. Jacare could barely get Luke down when they first fought. What will he do differently this time? You guys gotta stop overrating Jacare. Hes a one handed fighter who is exposed when he can't bully an opponent. And Vitor? You complain about a guy being gassed and you advocating TRT less Vitor? :camby:

My only point of contention with this post is where you call Conor a company man because he's using "us" and "we". What I get from his use of that is that he is a partner, not an employee/contract worker.

Conor won't win them all, but the longer he goes on with this streak more power he'll have. He should focus on continuing to build his brand outside of the cage so that when the L happens, he's still powerful.

I'm not taking him lightly I just dont think he has anything more than a punchers chance that really only extends through the first fukking round :heh:

After that he will gas and luke will pick his old ass apart and that doesnt interest me :yeshrug:
Vitor is fun for the fukkery and theres nothing overrated about Jacare, nothing annoys me more than 1 round fighters, fukk Romero

Y'all seen Sherdog? They migrated from vBulletin to xenforo just like the Coli did years ago but they fukked if up.
Threads are in the wrong forums, every new member has mod powers, clicking on the next page in one thread csn take you to an entirely different thread altogether. :dead:

Honestly, makes me appreciate how seamless the transition was here. Most complained about the new layout at first but at least there wasn't a ton of hugs. Maybe Sherdog is having problems cause it's a bigger forum with like 15 years of posts to migrate though :yeshrug:

I should have clarified my post more to reflect what I bolded in your quote because I agree 100%

Man it's a shyt show over there! The forum looks trash and all new registered users have mod powers so hundreds and hundreds of classic threads are being deleted. I don't want to jump the gun but it's such a huge mess that a ton of people have already said fukk it and e-suicided their accounts or are just going to reddit mma/bjj/etc.

It's one of the worst layouts/transitions I've ever seen.

Vitor doesn't deserve a shot at Luke not yet anyway.

Aldo deserves an immediate rematch and the sooner the better why not? Make it at like UFC 198

You really looking for Aldo to come back that quick after getting KO'd stiff like that :what:

Aldo shouldn't fight again until July or so IMO. I don't like seeing guys fight quickly after bad KO's

According to Joe Rogan on his podcast, Vitor Belfort has declined to fight Anderson Silva, wants next title shot against Luke Rockhold.

:wtf:

Who the fukk does Vitor think he is? Yoel is easily more deserving of a shot. Fight Anderson and work your way back up.

The thing with Vitor is that he's Lorenzo's favorite fighter and they're good friends. That's why he was allowed to sit out for that title shot for so long even after his testosterone was off the fukking charts. Then after he showed up in the worst shape of his career, they conveniently cupcaked him with an ancient, shot chin Dan Henderson in Brazil. So, I wouldn't put it past them to make that fight.

He has more then a punchers chance. :dahell: He only gassed because he was trying hard as hell to finish Jacare. He could come out of no where with a fight ending strike and he could easily outwrestle. And I'm not even picking him to beat Rockhold but to say he doesn't deserve a shot based off his Cardio but Jacare or Vitor :mjlol: does is laughable

I don't think it's all that serious. Boxers come back quick all the time after being KO'd in the first round. 4 - 6 months should be a good range for him. He really didn't take a lot of punishment. He just got hit square on the chin.
