Josh Thomson's latest UFC run has come to end.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, the UFC declined to offer Thomson a new contract once his most recent one expired following his loss to Tony Ferguson last month. As a result, Thomson has finalized a new deal with Bellator MMA, reuniting him with his long-time promoter Scott Coker. That new contract was announced Tuesday.

No word just yet on when "The Punk" will debut with Bellator, however, it is worth noting that the promotion is holding an event in San Jose, which is where he currently lives, on Sept. 19.

Aldo cn get a nice payday lose and finally be free of that weight class and go up. Mk sum easier weight and slowly start the descending portion of his career. Meanwhile Barao can move up in weight as its painfully obvious he cnt mk that lower weight and still be successfully anymore.

In a yr and half could potential setup barao vs Connor with Connor taking trash he's gonna dispose of him just like his mentor etc.

I rather Conor lose and he moves up to light weight or welterweight. Aldo told trainers he is fine at 145 now. But he also did say Bararo may need to move up.
