Yea that Alves class change is weird. Dude has struggled to make 170 in the past. And now he is older with a litany of injuries. And isn't AA in line for a title shot? Why is he wanting to fight Mir? Is Werdum ducking?

Maybe they're giving Stipe the title fight, both are deserving (although I would give the edge to AA).

Didn't Werdum say he's taking a break or healing up from injury? If this is a keep busy fight for AA, I don't mind it.

He just beat the best HW in the world, why would he be ducking AA?

Manuwa seems like a solid gate keeper for the division but I can't picture him beating Rumble...or DC or Gus for that matter. Dude is like a solid 6-8 in the division but I don't see him getting higher than that, could be wrong though.

Other than the top 6 or so, the LHW division is :flabbynsick: I wouldn't be shocked to see Manuwa make a decent run. This is not going to be the start of it though, I don't see him getting past Rumble.

Yeah that's what I read. Fedor wants a Werdum rematch, but UFC isn't interested because they want Stipe to get the next shot. Then I'd guess that whoever wins between Overeem vs JDS gets the next shot unless JDS' injury layover takes so long that AA/Mir winner gets one last shot at glory. Strictly guesswork on the post title fight contention though.

I'm the fool who keeps waiting for OSP to reach his potential and make noise. Rampage and Rashad both have an outside shot to make noise. I got the division like this right now
1. Cormier
2. Gus
3. Rumble
4. Glover
5. Bader
6. Rampage
7. Manuwa (but I like him more than Bader and Rampage, he just doesn't have the wins to warrant skipping them)
8. Rashad (until he shows he's healthy and hasn't regressed from the injury lay off)
9. OSP
10. Rua
11. Cavalcante
12. Lil Nog
13. I guess Cummins? :snoop:

You're on point, a bunch of guys on the downside of their careers and nobody clearly on the rise. Jones got suspended just in time to run out of quality opponents besides rematches. Bader in a title fight makes me sad fam.

With Werdum now as champ, the HW division has become much more interesting. You got JDS, Stipe, AA, Overeem, and Rothwell as potential contenders. :leon: Even Mir can make a run :pachaha:

IDK I heard somewhere that he didn't want to fight soon and he would rather there be some tournament. I don't think he's sucking because he's scared(he beats AA easily) I just think he doesn't want to fight. It's kind of risky for AA to take a fight(he should be next. Longer win streak and name recognition over stipe)But if not fights like he did against duffee it's an easy win

I mean at some point Honda gets hit with a shot. Hell even Serra caught GSP:ohhh:

Everyone knows Serra hits like a mack truck and he turned in his punchers chance. Corriera literally has no chance. I cannot think of a single avenue for victory in her case. I don't even think shes a better striker then Rousey. People don't realize she has only been fighting for 3 years professionally with no background in anything.

Jimi Manuwa is now fight Anthony Johnson at UFC 191 btw. A little bit more competitive then vs Jan Blachowitz. Rumble still takes his head clean off tho
