I forgot to come back to this thread regarding my brother. His last fight got cancelled because the opponent's team Googled my brother, saw that he wrestled for one of the best teams in NCAA D2, and he backed out :heh:

That was the second time someone has cancelled after looking him up. He is still an amateur with but apparently it's hard to get matchups for the 125lb class since it's pretty new (correct me if I'm wrong about that though).

But he has a fight scheduled for this weekend and hopefully dude doesn't back out. I'll post some video if I'm allowed to record it. If not I'll try to put a link up to the highlights.

I'm on my :birdman: rubs hands with this bet. Conor is one demensional. And hasn't done well fighting backwards or on the ground. Plus I think his grappling ain't sht either. You give him space that's his thing. He can be hit. And I honestly believe those leg kicks early will keep him honest from throwing the spinning back kick. He suffers from the Pettis achilles heel. He's gotta generate space to be effective.

Im sorry but I would troll my ass off for sponsors. I don't blame him one bit for his persona.

If I were a betting man I'd take Aldo +185. Conor's definitely legit, but he offers no striking defense. He's VERY hittable and likes to rely on a solid chin. That's not a good recipe for success vs Aldo

I said this in the fight thread, Aldo is a way better counter puncher than Mendes is, has way better head movement and movement in general, and also wont gas after one kick.

I think it'll be a great fight, but i believe Aldo's counter punching will get him through the fight. If the odds stay the same, i might have to put some money down on that.

Also, just looking at those Reebok payments..the Champ only gets 10k more than the challenger? That seems pretty shytty, though i guess that sums up the whole deal.

Im telling Yall Conor woulda tried to laser target those ribs with the kicks. He uses that to slow down his opponent so he can throw his punches.

how many fights you guys think conor has until he moves up to lightweight? i can't see him doing no more then 2-3 more fights at featherweight, thats size advantage he has now aint gonna cut it at lightweight. would love to see him vs pettis though.

Yeah, I don't see him staying at FW much longer. If he does move up, Khabib and RDA would rag doll him.
Fights with Pettis, Barboza and Cowboy would be :wow:

Aldo is a steal based on those lines.
