This dude Aldo always manages to get "injured" before a PPV and then fights on the subsequent next PPV in Brazil. Something is not adding up

:mjcry: what are you trying to say I'll answer your question if you come out with it.

Per Damon Martin of Fox Sports, citing a Globo in Brazil report, Aldo was injured during a sparring session on Tuesday:

The report states that Aldo was taken to the hospital where he underwent two separate tests, including a CT scan that confirmed a fractured rib.

The injury apparently happened during a sparring session when a teammate nailed Aldo with a kick to his midsection, and the champion fell down in pain immediately before being taken to the hospital to be examined.

According to Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com, Aldo may "potentially require three to four weeks of treatment" and has not yet decided if he will have to pull out from the fight with McGregor.

Using that timeline, Aldo would be just shy of three weeks by the date of UFC 189. The 28-year-old is the first and thus far only featherweight champion in UFC history, boasting a 7-0 record with the promotion and 25-1 overall.

Only way I can see UFC spinning this is making Conor fight for a interm belt against mendes. Which I do not think the UFC is above doing and then when Aldo is ready have it champion vs champion to make even more money... Would screw frankie Edgar tho and ain't no telling if Conor beats chad which I don't think he would. And would Aldo wanna wait till November or something to fight again.

Side note:

This the second time I got tickets for an Aldo fight where he got injured. The staples center fight which was chad mendes 2 last year and now this. I got tickets to weidman vs Belfort with Ronda co main event at staples last year weidman gets injured. I get jones vs rumble tickets in Vegas jones gets suspended. Now this Aldo fight :mjcry::mjcry::mjcry: why can't I just go to a card that the main event stays the same. Especially when I wanna see my favorite fighters.

Im not saying his roiding because I've already stated that all of them are on PED. I just think he prefers fighting in Brazil and manipulates situations to take advantage of that. Why is he taking unpadded kicks like that?

Frankie Edgar vs Conor McGregor in a number one contender's fight, make it happen Dana :lolbron:

It would go to chad mendes vs Mcgregor if anything. UFC just lost so much money :wow:

Not going to happen. There's a reason Connor leap frogged everyone to get to jose aldo, dana aint gonna let his pet get exposed by those guys. They would give him poirer again or the #20 ranked FW before Frankie or Chad:skip:. I didn't get tickets this time but still planned on heading to vegas to see it somewhere :mjcry:
