sure he was thats why when he got to america (where they actually test) his physique practically stayed the same and his career didnt skip a beat. Whereas all the so called pride greats all suddenly floundered :rudy:

He was on TRT. Nice try.

we are talking about pride, him using TRT that zuffa paid for could be down to anything from laziness, legitimately needing it due to health issues and or pass steroid usage

If a top athlete is using TRT it's because of past PED use.
Laziness? Legitimate health issues? :mjlol:

Dropping significantly after 30? :mjlol: It drops 1-2% per year after the age of 40 (source is in the video below). That is a very small amount.

Here is Dr. Craig Perlman (certified Endocrinologist) talking about TRT in MMA:

He says the odds of fighters being legitimately on TRT for medically reasons is extremely low. Top athlete with low testosterone (very likely) means past PED use.

If you want to give Dr. Don Catlin a laugh, ask him what he thinks of the use of therapeutic-use exemptions (TUEs) for testosterone in the sport of mixed martial arts. Ask the 73-year-old anti-doping pioneer and International Olympic Committee member if he thinks there’s ever a situation where pro fighters -- even those in their 40s -- should be given permission to use testosterone, and then sit back and listen to his low chuckling response.

"That’s a joke," Catlin laughed. "Forget it. It’s a joke.
"

The IOC has tested over 10,000 athletes and has only given out two TRT exemptions. One of them was to an athlete who had no testicles.

I think in all the years I’ve done it, we’ve given two. One was a kid who didn’t have any testicles because he had a terrible accident ten years ago or something. It just doesn’t happen."
