That little weak kick over and over was a bad idea. Just kept getting caught. Not sure what she was thinking with that one.

Another hyped fighter falls in the TUF finals. Just like Hall and Norver. Why do I always fall for it?

Have to give props for Carla on becoming champion. I thought Rose would walk away with the belt, seeing her as the more dynamic fighter. I knew Carla had the wrestling edge, but thought over 5 rds that Rose could catch her in a sub. The submission defense of Carla was great and she broke Rose down. Even showed she has underrated striking once again. Will be real interested to see the fight tomorrow between Joanna/Claudia as they will most likely face Carla next.

Penne/Markos was a ton of fun to watch, glad they got FOTN. Penne doesn't have great striking but she can take a shot and man is her ground game fun to watch. She's easily one of my favorites to watch because of her grappling, that flexibility is crazy. During the fight she reversed a position, using just her legs I believe. Randa showed promise with some nice striking in the 2nd, if she kept the fight standing she would have won.

Herring/Elis had some nice grappling exchanges as well.

Props to Heather, she impressed me with her tenacity in the fight and learning she won with a torn ACL is even more impressive.

Yancy with that spinning back kick to Joe Procter :whew: . Have to love that delayed reaction from Proctor until he couldn't hide it anymore :bryan:

Great show, shame about what's become of Stephens, he seemed on the come up back in the days where he faced gulliard, but now.
Becca rawlings fukin sux dude, she needs to concentrate more on being a better fighter than her branding.
Was rooting for rose until I read this week she wants to be a star like ronda. Hats off to esparza, to go through a TUF tourney and come away with no fukkery is commendable, get dj vibes from her tho.

Can't wait for dos anjos/Diaz weight debacle and all

My brother has been training with a MMA club for the past few months and he had his first fight last weekend. My brother has always been a good athlete (nationally ranked NCAA D2 wrestler by his senior year) but I was a little nervous for this fight.

His opponent came out first and I was a little more worried, but then my brother came out and I realized I had forgotten how shredded he is.

To get to the point, my brother knocked slammed him twice and let the punches rain down until he got the TKO in about a minute and a half. I was sitting there like :gladbron::krs::huhldup: just waiting for the ref to stop the match. He looked good, not overly aggressive or sloppy. He ended up breaking his hand from punching the dude so many times though so he will be out for a while. It was cool to see though. A little different from wrestling but I like it.
